Haywards Primary School

Haywards Primary School

Hayward’s Primary School East Street, Crediton ,
Hayward’s School has served the local community since 1860, when it was first opened in the old buildings next to the present school site. It has always been a part of the history and local community in the rural town of Crediton. The school moved to its present location in 1937, and in 2003 benefited from a wonderful rebuilding programme which resulted in the airy, welcoming and up-to-date accommodation we all now enjoy. We feel that the children at Hayward’s not only benefit from the superb accommodation, but are being taught by committed and motivated staff with high quality resources to support their work. Our staff, together with supportive parents and governors, contribute greatly to the success of the school. We all work together with a common purpose – to ensure that your children are happy and successful in their primary years.
