Hometown Social Club are the latest party starters to hit the West Lothian music scene. Borne from the frustration of having to travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow to hear the kind of underground house, dance, electronic and electric sounds they enjoy and a desire to prove that Frankie Boyle was wrong to suggest that Bathgate locals are just doorstep peeing philistines. The Hometown Social Club collective are planning a series of events to showcase the more underground sounds emanating from Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond in and around West Lothian. The music policy of Hometown Social Club is eclectic, broad reaching and goes beyond genre classification. You can expect to hear the very best of Hip-Hop, Dub, House, Techno, Reggae, Punk, Funk & Soul and everything else in between be it the latest upfront UK Bass Banger, a slept on Punk rarity or an obscure Northern Soul classic. Time and genre are unimportant to the Hometown Social Club crew preferring instead to keep an open mind when it comes to selecting music. If it's interesting and creative you’re likely to hear at a Hometown Social Club event. That's a guarantee. Kidzeco is a not for profit social enterprise in West Lothian set up to benefit families in our local community. We take donations of and recycle excellent quality baby and children's goods. VOLUNTEER: We are always in need of volunteers for the shop, backshop and kids activity groups. Get in touch if you would like to find out more. OUR SHOP: We have a large shop packed full of great recycled baby goods such as prams, cots, moses baskets, toys and clothes. We also stock handmade jewellery made by local artists. PARENTING ROOM: Our FREE parenting room is open for use to anyone to feed and change their kidz. We have a selection of nappies, wipes, cream etc. so cater for all your babies needs. FUN WITH FABRIC: We run classes such as jewellery making, learn to sew and make a quilt and our volunteers make upcycled goods for sale in the shop. KREATIVE KIDZ: Our kidz activities include Yoga Kidz, Kidz Play, Messy Kidz, Kidz Tales and Sunshine Kidz as well as Tiny Talk and Music Bugs sessions. Our prices are much lower than elsewhere and tea/coffee is provided free of charge. Places must be booked for these classes so get in touch! PIC N MIX PARTIES: Our party room can be hired for both standard and themed parties. We can provide the cake, buffet and disco hire. SPECIAL OFFER: 2 hours room hire with disco £50 or 2 hour soft play for £75.

My name is Hayley Ellis. I am a registered Childminder based in Armadale, West Lothian. I live with my husband Jamie, my 2 year old Son, Riley, and our friendly dog, Roxy. I have over 10 years experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I am a registered Nursery Nurse and have worked at Beatlie School for the previous 7 years. I have an HNC in Early Years Education and Childcare, and have attended training courses in Child Protection, Food Hygiene and First Aid. I operate between 8am and 6pm, however I can be flexible when circumstances require. I will be accepting children aged 0 - 12 years. I charge £3.50 per hour for children in my care and provide lunch and snacks. Breakfast is available at a daily suppliment of 50p. Many activities will be on offer including baking, messy play, library visits, toddler groups, local parks, walks and lots of outdoor play.
